I started the Senior Ambassador program in 2016 with just six seniors. More recently, I cap the program at 15-20 seniors each year.

When you consider that a normal 2-hour senior portrait session and 10 JPGs costs around $950 or more, the senior ambassador program has tremendous value. There are 5 photo sessions and most of my clients opt for the feature that provides 8 JPGs per session with two of them being full resolution. All that for just $975.

One of the best things about doing these multiple shoots over a period of time is the comfort level the senior begins to feel with their shoots, and working with Ron. Their confidence grows with each shoot, any insecurity they may feels dissipates. These turn out to be really fun sessions.

Here are the sessions:

April/May, All About Me. It’s shot in my studio, taking anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or so. You bring whatever. If you’re a musician, you bring your instruments. Bring your pet. If you’re a dancer, we’ll get some artistic images. If you’re into other sports, bring it all.
June-September, Individual 2-hour Session. This is shot in location in your area. I have a whole list of parks and forest preserves that I’m familiar with that you can choose from, or come up with a location of your own. You get 3 or 4 different outfits. Bring your pets, athletic gear, pointe shoes, musical instruments, whatever.
August, Chicago Downtown. We start around 3 pm and go to around 7:00 or 7:30 pm, going from the Riverwalk all the way over to Grant Park and the Buckingham Fountain. I offer this shoot on two different Sundays in early August. You can usually do 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 outfits. This will be pretty much all individual shots, but it will be a large group of ambassadors, and that makes it a lot of fun!
April or May of Senior Year. Cap and Gown shots, often at your high school. Also we usually throw in some college swag. If there are more than one ambassador at a high school, we coordinate all to be there at one time.
Optional Shoot. Can be a BFF shoot, Fall Colors, an artistic shoot in the RMP studio. This fifth shoot can be done in the summer, fall or winter during your senior year.

You can actually register for the program at no cost and with no commitment by emailing to ron@ronmckinneyphotography.com with the following info: Senior name, class year, high school, any interests he or she has (dance, music, sports, etc), and the parents name, phone number, and email address. In February of their junior year, we will contact you to make a commitment to the ambassador program so we know exactly how many will be participating.

Ambassadors also receive discounts for my color powder and rain sessions, and can inviate friends to join them with the same discount.

You can pay in full ($975) by May 1, or pay half by May 1, and the other half by September 1.
