DEnise Sabala Dance Studios Recital Portraits
Hi there! I’m excited to offer recital portraits to the dancers of Denise Sabala Dance Studios. These will be held at my studio at 800 McArdle Drive, Crystal Lake, IL. I have a 3250 sq foot studio with several dance floors. My main dance floor is white hi-shine marley and is 32 feet wide. That’s where we will take these recital portraits.
For those of you who have not heard of me, I am primarily a dance photographer, and I’ve been doing this since 2008. I’m actually the leader of Pas de Deux Photo, an organization for dance photographers that provides community and education.
I provide discounted pricing for my recital portraits, as I typically work with 100 dancers or more in one day.
For this photo shoot, you can bring all the dance costumes for all the dances that your dancer is in. I have a changing room here so they can comfortably change from one costume to another. I typically do three poses per costume/dance. Your dancer should come with an idea of what poses they’d like to do, but I have hundreds of samples poses on my walls for them to look at and consider.
We won’t be doing any group photos. However, if your dancers are siblings, or if friends come together for this photo shoot, then we can get pictures of them together.
As for ordering, if your dancer is in two dances, or if you know you want to spend more than $50, then we recommend that you select the $50 Viewing Gallery option. Then you’ll get to see all the picss and poses that we took of your dancer, and you can choose which picture will fulfill each product that you order. If you select a package without choosing the viewing gallery, we will choose the picture for you to fulfill your order.
When you register, you can schedule your session on either May 30 or June 4. Click here to register and schedule your session. If you have more than one costume you do not need to schedule more than one session. We may have dancers overlapping each other, and that’s just not a problem.
