Rain, Color Powder, and Artistic Photo Sessions
Welcome to my website! If you’re not familiar with me, I’ve been photographing dancers since 2008 and was first published in Dance Magazine in 2011 with images of Houston Ballet dancers. Since then, I’ve been published in many other magazines and photographed many other dancers from professional dance companies and dance schools.
Or Crystal Lake studio is 3,250 square feet and is designed specifically for dance. We do have dance recital portraits for a couple dozen dance schools. We offer audition pictures, artistic dance photo sessions, and color powder and rain sessions twice a year.

January/February Sessions
ARTISTIC SESSIONS
We are offering artistic dance photo sessions using edgy lighting techniques through Jan. 16, and again starting on Feb. 17.
These creative sessions take your dance images to another level. The lighting is designed for each individual pose or leap. You can bring several different outfits, and we sometimes bring in silk fabrics, or use our wind machine to fan the dancer’s hair.
These shoots can be shot against our black background, our many color backgrounds, the reclaimed wood setting, or our urban corner.
These sessions are normally $100 for one hour, or $150 for two hours for the session fee alone. And then you would purchase JPGs at $120 for full resolution, or $90 for social media JPGs printable to 5x7 inches. As part of this special Facebook ad, I’m offering these sessions with a 50% discount on the session fees, and the JPGs will be sold also at almost 50% off: $72 for full resolution, or $48 for social media JPGs

RAIN SESSIONS
January 20-29
The rain sessions are a unique, creative experience. The sessions are held in a 16x20-foot pool of water about 3-4 inches deep. A sprinkler system creates the rain.
Dancers can strike a static pose, or splash in the water, kick the water, or jump in the water. We also have buckets, and you can have buckets of water thrown at you while posing or leaping. There are so many different options you can do for these sessions, including bringing props like umbrellas or a wood chair we have at the studio.
We offer two individual packages for both our rain and color powder sessions. A 15-minute session with 2 jPGs for $195, or a 30-minute session with 5 JPGs for $295. We also an extra pose/action or two to ensure you will love the number of images you receive. You can always add on those additional images as JPGs if they are liked.
That’s the normal pricing you’ll find on my website. As part of this Facebook ad campaign, we’re offering these sessions at $175 for 2 JPGs, or $275 for 5 JPGs — what is normally our group discount! This offer is only good through Jan. 217, 2023.
