Gianna Artistic Dance Photo Session in the Studio

One of my favorite photo sessions to do is an artistic photo shoot in my studio with dancers, gymnasts, athletes, musicians or whatever. I get to really control the light and background, add any colors I want, and we can do pretty much anything we want.

It’s especially fun when I get to do a photo shoot with someone like Gianna, who is not only a talented dancer but is someone I’ve been photographing for years, so our comfort level with each other is really high.

Along with doing some shots with really edgy lighting against the black background, we did some against a green background. We also got some headshots in.
