Artistry Dance School on location in Downtown Elgin

Each fall, I do an outdoor photo session with Artistry. We’ve been all over the place here locally in the northwest suburbs, and we even did one shoot at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. We get group shots, a few sibling shots, and a lot of individual shots.

Since it’s an entire team, I’m able to offer really nice pricing for the dancers and parents. I sometimes bring a second photographer if needed.

In this session, we were in downtown Elgin. We got some shots under a bridge at the Fox River, and others just looking out over the river. We also got some shots on this inclining walkway that provided some gorgeous leading lines. Then we moved over and got some shots in a really cool urbanesque alley.
