Location: Millennium Park in ChicagoThe Mil

The Millennium Park in Chicago is a fantastic place to get both architectural shots as well as nature shots with flowers and bushes. It is interestingly one of my favorite places to get headshots during the golden hour time with these long grass strands in the background.

It is also a difficult place to shoot as there are always tons of tourists walking around. While the Bean is a popular spot to do photographs due to its uniqueness surrounded by the cityscape, there are always too many people to get the kind of portrait Iā€™d like to get. For the ideal bean shot, you have to be there at sunrise when there are very few people around.

I usually combine shots at Millennium Park with either The Art Institute or we walk down to the Riverwalk. Grant Park is also another possibility.
