Stevenson High School Dance Team 2024 Photo Session

The Stevenson High School dance team always comes to my studio with a color concept, and then the dancers add their style and skill set to the shoot. Each dancer gets three images with artistic lighting designed specifically for what they’re dong.

As a photographer, this style of a shoot takes much longer than the way I normally work with dancers, and produces on average just one image per 5 minutes. Just 12 in an hour. Each dancer has 15 minutes, and there’s always a few dancers stretching, or waiting their turn, so it’s fun bonding session as they cheer each other on.
